Tokuso Ionomer Luting Cement TOKUYAMA Tokuso Glass Ionomer Luting Cement is a glass-ionomer luting cement which offers superior adhesion, high adhesive strength with less harmful effects to the pulp. The best properties of cement can be achieved by mixing the powder and liquid at the standard powder/liquid ratio. Unlike conventional cements, the high fluidity of TOKUYAMA® Tokuso Glass Ionomer Luting Cement ensures excellent properties as a luting cement should. It also allows for easy application to teeth, prostheses and a smooth setting. And because of the high fluidity of the mixed material and the fine powder, a film thickness as thin as 16 microns can be realized thus, achieving an excellent adaptation for the luting of prostheses.

HY-Bond GlasIonomer CX-Smart is a truly biocompatible contemporary luting glass ionomer that guarantees reliable cementation for lasting restorations. Both the glass and liquid polymer components in the CX-Smart formulation have been modified to enhance the working and handling properties for an easier, cleaner application. Based on Shofu’s proven track record in self-adhesive luting technology, HY-Bond CX-Smart comprises of SHOFU’S proprietary additive- HY-agent, “a tannic acid-strontium fluoride-zinc fluoride complex” that is known to promote mineralization, increase acid resistance and reduce solubility with anti-bacterial and anti-enzymatic properties while virtually eliminating hypersensitivity.

Zirconomer Improved defines a new class of restorative that promises the strength and durability of amalgam with the protective benefits of glass ionomer while completely eliminating the hazard of mercury. This high strength restorative has been specially reinforced with nano-zirconia fillers that not only impart remarkable mechanical properties to the restoration for posterior load bearing areas but also provides enough translucency to match natural tooth. Combination of outstanding strength, durability and sustained fluoride protection deems it ideal for permanent posterior restoration in patients with high caries incidence as well as cases where strong structural cores and bases are essential.
